Whilst my mum was in London over the summer she brought me home some testers of a selection of oils. I'm very excited to try these out and let you guys know what I think! So far I have only used the Soothing Face Oil, I have been using it twice a day as instructed and I love it! It makes my face feel very moisturised and soft without looking or feeling oily or sticky. It smells super scrummy and is silky smooth to apply, definitely one to pop on the Christmas list. Once i have given the bath oils a try I will let you know what they are like. :)

Also guys I have ordered loads of clothes and boots this week so look out for a mega ASOS/Debenhams haul this weekend or early next week!
On Saturday I went on a miniature shopping trip and bought a few make-up items that I would like to share with you! So I thought I would put them together in one make-up look and then show you how I did it. Here is a silent (I don't speak in it, it has music) showing you how I created my look and the step by step instructions can be seen below, I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think!
1. First of all I made sure that my face was completely clean by giving it a wipe over with a make-up wipe, I useTea Tree & Peppermint. Then I went on to apply my primer Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Primer, I find that I really don't need very much, just a tiny pea size blob will do my whole face. When you apply primer you need to make sure that you cover your whole face evenly to avoid dry/flaky patches when you come to foundation. Also I recommend gently swiping a small amount over both of your eyelids as this will form a great surface to apply your eyeshadow to.
2. After my primer I then apply my Collection (Collection 2000) concealer in Light , only on my blemishes and spots as I will do my under eyes later. make sure that when yo blend your concealer you pat it gent;y with the tips of your fingers as this makes sure that you do not lose any of the product whilst applying it. This concealer gives a great coverage as it is very strongly pigmented and so it is great for teenage skin, especially for those emergency spot covering moments!
3. Next I put on my foundation, I use Rimmel Wake Me Up in Ivoryan I love it! This foundation gives a lovely dewy finish and sits very light on the skin. I apply my foundation with a brush, I actually made the brush I amusing myself from an old Kabuki brush. I work the foundation onto my face by starting at the most red part and circling the foundation out from there. I don't use very much as the foundation covers well and evens the skin tone nicely. Always make sure that you blend your foundation over the jawbone as this ensures that you do not develop a make-up line.
4. Now I move on to the eye make-up, I started with the Collection Eye Shadow Stick in Vanilla Skyas a base. To that I then added Natural Collection Eye Shadow in Asteroid to the outer half of my eye, i blended this right up to the brow. It is a good idea to keep a soft, clean brush to one side to blend with when you are doing a smokey eye look. Next I applied Natural Collection Eye Shadow in Crushed Walnut into the socket and worked it in until I was happy with the depth of colour.
5. Having applied all of my shadow I then applied my eyeliner, I went for a pencil liner Natural Collection Eye Lines in Soft Brown but liquid or gel liner would be just as good. I applied this across the top lid and put a small flick in the corner of the eye, i also blended the liner underneath my eye as well.
6.Final touch to the eyes was my new mascara Miss Sporty Waterproof Pump Up Booster 24h although very cheap the brush does wonders for my lashes! I always think it is best to buy a waterproof mascara, just in case! Also a good tip for applying mascara is to wiggle the brush from side to side to separate the lashes out and ensure good coverage on every lash!
7. Now I return to the face by applying the concealer under my eyes, this will also cover any make up that may have fallen down as well as my dark circles. Again dabbing the concealer gently to blend it helps to keep as much of the product on your face as possible. Once I have done this I apply a bit more foundation to the same area just to ensure that the colour is blended completely with the rest of my face.
8. Blusher comes next and I have chose Bourgouis Blush in Lilas D'or this blusher has a slight shimmer to and goes very well with the dewy foundation. To apply the blusher I used an angled face brush, smiled and applied the blusher to the apple of my cheeks then back towards my ears and slightly up towards my temple too. To set my make-up I always apply Rimmel Transparent Stay Matte Powder lightly over my whole face using a large, very soft face brush.
9. Finally to finish off this look I added Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish in 107. This is a very deep purple-red colour and it goes really well with the subtle brown eye make-up and adds a bold twist. To soften this look I would recommend using Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish 05orRimmel 1000 Kisses in Carry On Cherry.
I hope you enjoyed this very different blog post. Please feel free to comment, like and subscribe on youtube and let me know if you would like to see more videos from me! :)
I bought this dress from Next, it was in the sale and only cost me £7! I could not resist the bright colours and floral print, I also loved the 'shift' shape. I have owned these blue wedges for around a year and have never worn them out because of the scary colour, but I love this combo and cant wait to wear it out! To smarten this dress for a slightly more formal occasion I would pair it with these black suede heels from Faith for £60. These shoes match really well and with a black clutch bag and oversized blazer the outfit would be complete!
The other item that I bought was this gorgeous Ted Baker Parka jacket! I love this coat, it is my favourite item of clothing at the moment and I am so excited to wear it! It is lined with fur and also has a fur collar and edge to the hood, it is incredibly warm and bought slightly big, would be perfect for winter with a jumper underneath. I have this coat in a size 3, which is equivalent to an English 12 and cost my £150 reduced from £219.
p.s Sorry about the fuzzy table in the bottom of my photo!
This purse is from Mulberry's 2012 A/W collection and is made from a luxurious bright pink goatskin leather with gold hardware. Although I never wear gold, I think I could make an exception for this purse! The purse costs £295, so I think I am going to have to wait for christmas before I can get my hands on this bad boy!
Levis Flannel Shirt - This shirt has very small print on it that contains the colours blue and burgundy. It matches very well with the pale jeans, which then allows me to wear a more bold coloured shoe.
Ripped Levis Jeans - These jeans are a very pale colour and are a good match to the colour in the shirt. Hand-ripped by me! See previous blog posts for tips on how to rip your own jeans.
Limited Edition Suede Converse - These converses were available at Size over the summer, I'm not sure whether they are still available but I love them! They are a new take on normal converses and will be perfect for the winter due to the colour and choice of suede fabric. Definitely would recommend getting your hands on these if you could!
So, whilst I was in Cornwall I was dragged to Truro Plaza so that my other half Tom could skate. I had my outfit carefully chosen for me so that I would look cool enough to sit with! However I couldn't help but add my own twists to the outfit that Tom chose for me, so here they are:
I bought these shoes whilst on my travels in Ecuador and they cost me $25 from a stall at a market. I love the black base with bright coloured pattern as this means they are very easily worn and will match most items in my wardrobe! The anklet I am waring is also from Ecuador, but was made by me! Maybe I will upload a tutorial about how I made it so you guys can make them too.
This photo is to show you all of my rings, I wear all of them every day and love to collect quirky pieces when I see them. The ring on left with the blue glass in the centre was bought (again) in Ecuador, it is 925 Silver (it is hallmarked but still a bit dubious) and cost me $15. The next ring is the one in the centre, this was bought for £55 from Twisted Silver London and is made from a vintage silver coffee spoon (made in Sheffield in 1910). The final ring is a set of two bought from The Silver Shop in Bath and is made by a local silversmith there is one plain band that cost £13 and the other features a small battered heart and cost £18. So those are my rings!
These are the second pair of Levis that I bought and as you can see (sorry about the horrible yellow photo) they are very pale. I decided that I would rip them to break up the plain colour and I decided to show you how I did it! I love the ripped denim look and it is a style that tends to always linger around whilst other fashions come and go. It was important to me that I didn't go over the top as you can always rip more but you cant get rid of a rip!
1. Put the jeans on and look at where you want the rips to be, then lay them out on the floor and mark with a pencil where you want the rips to start and end. You will need to mark the top and the bottom of the rip.
2. Cut along the lines that you have drawn and start to pull the vertical (normally blue) threads out from in-between the horizontal white threads. If you just want a single rip then simply cut one line and pull at some of the threads by hand.
3. You need to make sure that you wash the jeans to finish off this edit as it will soften the rips and make them look lovely!
I will upload a picture of my finish jeans for you very soon!
These are my beloved new Levi jeans! Levis was my last resort for jeans as I wanted a real denim pair (opposed to the weird stretchy jeans you get in most places). I find it very difficult to get jeans as I have a leg length of 34/36 so jeans often end up as ankle swingers on me! However, these jeans are perfect, they are the right denim colour and are not stretchy, they have a natural worn look and are really comfy too! Finally, a pair that fit! I also bought the same ones in a plain colour, but I want to try giving them a ripped look so I will upload a step by step of how I did it and how they turned out soon.
Prices are (bought in an outlet):
- £55 each or 2 pairs for £90
