My LUSH Bath

Hello!

I have another LUSH product to show you, this is the Golden Wonder Bath Ballistic which looks like a little golden present with a white bow on the top.  I decided to make a little video to show you what this one does as it holds a secret surprise!

Cracked Iphone :'(

Hello!

I used to have a sticker on the back of my phone that I had made on Zazzle with a few of my boyfriends photos. Due to having this sticker on there I didn't notice when I dropped my phone and the back cracked. I just peeled off the sticker the other day and had a nasty surprise!

So I had seen a photo on Instagram a very long time ago where someone had dropped some rainbow coloured dye into the cracks on the back of their phone to create a cool pattern.

This cloud came with a silver lining, because it meant that I could drop dye into the back of my phone too! I chose pink because I like pink and its super girly, but this would also look great with any coloured dye. I used simple food dye and dropped in on with a pipette and then spread it around with a paintbrush. This meant that it sunk into the cracks as evenly as possible, although it sinks into some cracks more than others.

I am very happy with the overall effect as I think it just makes the cracks look pretty and interesting rather than broken and ugly. Hope you guys like it too!

My First GlossyBox

Hello!

I am soooo excited! On Wednesday I received my first Glossy Box and I love it, for those of you who don't know what Glossy Box is, it is a monthly subscription service where you receive 5 beauty products a month for just £12.95. This genius idea means that you can try out all the products and then decide if they are something that you would re-purchase. There are several different companies on the market such as Glossy Box, Birch Box and Latest in Beauty (Box will be back soon). I chose Glossy Box first as I have read and watched loads of reviews that say these are fabulous. This box did not disappoint, it contained 3 full size products and 2 miniature products. The full sized ones were and Yves Rocher Chocolate and Raspberry hand cream, Elegant Touch Fast drying nail spray and an Emite Eyeshadow in Nect.
Having tried the hand cream I am impressed, even though it says this product is only worth £1.45 it smells almost good enough to eat! I have bought loads of hand creams recently including the Palmer Cocoa hand cream which almost smells as good. The only negative thing about this cream would be the fact that it is quite thin and leaves a residue on the hands for a while.
I havent yet tried the nail varnish drying spray as I currently have Shellac/Gelish nails but I assume that it will work as I have used it previously at a friends house before a night out and it was great!
The eyeshadow is a gorgeous pale cream shimmer that would be great as a base or a highlighter under the brows or on the top of the cheeks. This eyeshadow is worth £16.50 which is more than the whole box so that is amazing value.
The two minature products were Vichy Life Serum (3 little bottles) with the full sized ones costing £29.90 and a Face Oil from Agese. I have only tried the Vichy Face Serum and it felt very silky on the skin however I was REALLY disappointed with the amount of product in the tube, there wasn't even enough to cover my whole face!

Overall a very lovely box! I cant wait to try out he products that I haven't already and will definitely keep my subscription. Next box I am going to try will be the Birchbox as that looks like it has very good make-up products this month!

Finished Heart Wall!

 My Finished Wall

When I was away in Ecuador over the summer my (lovely) boyfriend painted my bedroom wall for me. The wall was plain blue and we wanted to do something to make it look pretty, so I started collecting hearts to hang on it. I have finally finished! I love the effect this gives and it is very personal to me as I know exactly where I got each heart. I have chosen 3 of my favourite hearts to talk to you about.

I bought this handmade heart in Poland at a market in the centre of Krakow, it cost me 6 zloty which is the equivalent to about £1.20. The heart is reasonably small and has a very interesting metallic glaze on it. I may have mentioned before that I don't like gold so I was very happy that they did this heart in this lovely pewter colour.

I bought this tiny little heart at the shop I work in, French Grey, it is actually a christmas decoration!(http://www.frenchgreyinteriors.co.uk) It looks like a heart bauble that has been dipped in glass the bauble has a vintage look which I really like. This retails at £2.50, which seems a lot but it is so pretty and shiny!

Finally, this heart was bought from Wilkinsons (yeh, I know!) for £2.49 and is a super cute little chalkboard with chalk tied on. It is very rustic looking and for some reason I think it would look great in a farmhouse kitchen (my odd mind). This heart is great for writing little messages or even just the word 'love' as I have here, adds a bit more personality to the wall.

Hope you enjoyed this homey-interior post, please let me know if you like these and maybe I will do some more! I am planning some projects in my room over the Christmas holidays (maybe sooner) so keep your eyes peeled!

LUSH Magic Wand

Magic Wand Bubble Bar

It was my sisters birthday on the 4th of November and I soon sniffed out the LUSH products she had been given and decided they needed to be "borrowed". I chose to borrow the Magic Wand Bubble Bar; both Sprinkle Of Glitter and Zoella have both recently done LUSH hauls and raved about how good it is so I thought - why not?!

I am going to start with how it looks and as you can see from the photo it is the most adorable little pink wand! It is really bright pink and has those cute little tassels you can see which just make you want to shake it around. I also love the fact that it is on a stick so that you don't have to get sticky hands when you're swirling it in the water.

Secondly the smell, now to me this smells like heaven! It has a really really sweet, strong aroma that smells like marshmallows or Haribo or BOTH mixed together, it is a-ma-zing. As soon as I put it into the water the smell filled my whole bathroom and made me smell like a sweet shop!

This wand is so simple and easy to use, you literally unwrap it, run your bath and swirl it in the water or hold it under your tap and you're done! It creates sickly sweet bubbles and even turns your bath a super girly pale pink colour (don't know if you can really see that in the photos). You can use this wand over and over again until it disappears which will probably be abut 5 or 6 baths of pink bubbly sweety goodness!

This would be the perfect gift for a friend for Christmas and at only £4.95 it is very affordable too! I will definitely be sneakily "borrowing" this again soon and then maybe I will go out and get myself one. I am planning a trip to LUSH next Saturday so keep your eyes peeled for a LUSH haul that should be coming your way.

Lots of Love

My Notepad Obsession

Hello Everybody!

Now, as you can see this is  rather large collection of notebooks because I cant help myself, I just love a new notebook! There are 16 notebooks here that have been given to me or bought by me throughout 2013, thats over 1 month (eeeek). Most of these notepads have only been used in the first few pages and then replaced by the next one. Three of these are diaries and obviously I do not use all three at once, so here is a little description of each one. The Dodo-Pad (http://www.dodopad.com) is one of the coolest diaries that I have ever bought but is definitely more suitable for family planning as each page is divided into sections. Dodo Pads cost around £12 and are definitely worth it when you consider you use it through the whole year, however two things I was not keen on was the fact there were no lines and the whole diary is almost A4 so unfortunately not handbag size :(. The blue filofax-style planner bottom left is from Paperchase and although I loved this one at the start of the year it quickly became dirty, dog-eared and difficult to write in as the binder got in the way. This did not put me off organisers in general though as you are about to find out if you keep reading!

This is my super duper, brand new, amazing, scrumptious, gorgeous Kate Spade organiser which I have FALLEN IN LOVE WITH. Now I could talk about this forever so I am going to have to restrain myself before I bore you to death.

This was not an easy purchase to make as I will confess to you straight away that this cost me £99 (gulp! Down from £165... slightly better). I had been looking at another organiser, the Erin Condren one to be precise (https://www.erincondren.com/life-planners <-- go and check them out they are gorgeous) when I had a brain wave! For the price of this Erin Condren planner that only lasts ONE year I could buy a very good quality planner that I could use every year by buying a new insert, so thats what I did!

As you can see the organiser has a zip that goes all the ay round the outside of the planner, this ensures that everything stays neat and tidy. This is brilliant as it means I can tuck loose bits if paper inside the planner knowing full well they will still be there next time I look! Also it has a very handy pen loop inside which means I always have a pen tucked inside ready to go. The organiser is A5 size which also means it is perfect for fitting in most of my handbags including my awesome Kate Spade bag. It tucks neatly into my school bag without taking up much room and due to the zip, no dog-eared pages! I am also post-it note obsessed and use them to record all my to-do lists and notes so that they can be ripped off when the task is complete. I also use pink stickers on birthdays and green stickers to show when I am working, slightly OCD but very useful.

Anyway, I think I have done far too much talking already so I will leave you in your state of complete envy. Im off to go and find something to organise!

Lots of Love
