Hello I'm Hannah a 17 year old, living in England and hoping to go on and study Fashion at University. I recently took part in a CAMPS International trip to Ecuador that inspired me to start a blog. When I arrived home one of the first things I wanted to do was shop! So, as my first ever blog post (ahh! scary) I thought I would share my fabulous haul with you!
Beauty & Accessories
Shopping for beauty products and accessories is a new found love of mine and here are some of my favourite purchases!
Fossil:
- Bright Green Wallet Style Purse
- £29.99
- Bright Blue 'Cat Eye' shaped sunglasses
- £24.99
The bright colours of these products drew me towards them, the fresh grass green of the purse and the gorgeous shade of blue not only look good separately but also together! The cat eye shape of the glasses really compliment a slightly rounder face, like mine, as they accentuate the eyes and help to give the allusion of cheekbones. The purse is a very handy size as it fits in the hand well and contains a small internal pocket for coins, perfect for someone who loves using small bags!
The Belt:
- Handmade Real Leather Belt
- £10.99
This belt was made by a man who runs his own belt making shop in Swindon Designer Outlet. He fitted the belt to me and trimmed off the excess leather and fitted the buckle of my choice, would highly recommend giving him a visit!
Crabtree & Evelyn:
- Hand Therapy in Citron, Honey and Coriander
- £9.00
- Antibacterial Hand Gel in La Source
- £4.00
Both of these products are gorgeous smelling and are a handy pocket size, perfect for handbags or purses! The Crabtree hand gel gives a luxurious twist on ordinary hand gel as it contains moisturising elements that leave your hands clean and soft. The hand cream is silky and is easily absorbed by skin without a greasy or sticky residue. After I had overcome the initial guilt of spending this much money on hand products, I began to really enjoy using them both and would definitely consider buying them again!
Revlon & Maybeline:
- Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter in 005 Sugar Frosting and 025 Peach Parfait
- £
-Maybeline Color Whisper in 55 One Size Fits Pearl and 25 Lust For Blush
- $9.99
Both the Revlon and the Maybeline products are moisturising lip balms with a colour or tint, both recommended by Zoe Sugg (Zoella) on Youtube so I had to try them! The first one I purchased was the Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait and I fell in love! These balms are so easy to apply, they have a very subtle colour so are perfect for days when you don't feel bold enough to wear a full lipstick or perhaps have a heavy eye make-up look. Unfortunately the Maybeline Color Whisper's are not yet available in the U.K (I managed to pick them up in Miami Airport) but I assume they intend on releasing them here at some point. Both the Revlon colours that I have contain a strong shimmer that you can probably see in the photo below, the Maybeline products are more plain but still contain a gentle shimmer.
Marc Jacobs:
- Daisy Eu So Fresh 125ml
- £68.00
The perfume is my favourite perfume for the summer as it is fresh, floral and fruity. It has an incredibly sweet smell that starts fresh in the morning and warms throughout the day.
Love Hannah xxx
